It’s officially countdown time, Phoenix MMA’s first day of school is scheduled for exactly one month from today, and we couldn’t be more excited!
Here are a few fun updates to share with you:
- Our location has been finalized, and we are hard at work to get our brand-new schoolhouse ready for opening day. We are in Scottsdale, near the intersection of Cactus and Scottsdale Road. Click here to read how we selected our location.
- We know that most parents (including us!) want to ask lots of questions and get a very good idea of what their kids will be learning every day before making a decision on a new school. This is exactly why we’ve posted a sample curriculum and daily schedule for you on our website.
- Caring parents also want to know how the physical environment will look and feel, and it can be overwhelming to send your kids to a new place! We want you to come see the school, spend time on the property, and have a chance to visit with the teachers and founders. MMA will be offering Shadow Tours by appointment starting on August 2, so send us an email to schedule your private showing!
- Enrollment applications are streaming in, and we are very excited for an incredible inaugural year with our Founding Families. Please know that official acceptance letters and MMA Family Handbooks will start sending on August 3.
- We want YOU to come celebrate with us! Please join us for a community-wide Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Sunday, August 19 on site from 10 to 11:30 AM. We’ll have delicious treats and fun activities for the kids! A flyer will be posted soon.
- Parent orientation is scheduled for Wednesday night, September 5. This is a required event for all new families. This will be an awesome opportunity for you to learn exactly what to expect from the year, and it will help set you and your children up for maximum success in the coming school year.
- Our opening day of school is scheduled for Friday, August 24!
